The death death of a a a a a a loved one is life’s most painful event People’s reactions to to death death remain one of of society’s least understood and most off-limit topics for discussion Oftentimes grievers are left totally alone in in in in dealing with their pain loneliness and isolation Grief is a a a a a a a a natural emotion that follows death It hurts Sadness denial guilt physical discomfort and sleeplessness are some of of the symptoms of of grief It is is like an an open wound which must become healed At times it it seems as if if this healing will never happen While some of life’s spontaneity begins to to to return it it it never seems to to to get back to to to the the way it it was It is still incomplete We know however that these feelings of being incomplete can improve Healing is a a a a a a process of allowing ourselves to feel experience and accept the the the pain In other words giving ourselves the the the the the chance to accept these feelings is the the the the beginning of that process The healing process can take much less time than we have have been led to believe especially if you you have have a a a a a a a a safe loving professionally guided atmosphere in in in which to express your feelings The Grieving Process
When we experience a a a a a a a a major loss grief is the normal and and and natural way our mind and and and body react Everyone grieves differently and and and at at the the same time there are are common patterns people tend to share For example someone experiencing grief usually moves through a a a a a a series of emotional stages such as shock numbness guilt anger and denial Physical responses are typical also They can include sleeplessness inability to eat or concentrate lack lack of of energy and a a a a a a a a a lack lack of of of interest in in in activities previously enjoyed However these stages often do not happen in in in in a a a a a a a a linear way and can be cycled through several times during your grieving process Time always plays an an important role in in the the the grieving process As the the the days weeks and months go by the the the person who is experiencing loss moves through emotional and and physical reactions that normally lead toward acceptance healing and and getting on on with life as as fully as as possible Sometimes a a person can become overwhelmed or bogged down in in the grieving process Symonds-Madison Funeral Home - - Page 49
