Herman C. Boudreau,
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Born in Little Anse, Herman now resides in Arichat with his wife Norma. They have two sons, Chuck and Kevin (Noreen). Herman obtained his Funeral Directors License in 1971 and his Embalmers license in November of 1993. Herman is very active in his community. He is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br 150 Arichat, the Lawrence Kavanagh Council 4607 in West Arichat, long time member of InRich Business Development Centre Ltd, New Horizon’s Seniors Club in Arichat and a founding member of the 235 Arrow Sea Cadets Corporation.
Norma E. Boudreau, CFSP,
Manager/ Funeral Director/ Embalmer
Born in New Jersey, U.S.A., Norma now resides in Arichat with her husband Herman. They have two sons, Chuck and Kevin (Noreen); 3 grandchildren, Kyle Boudreau, Ashley (Preston) Clorey, Charcy (Brandon) Marchand, along with 2 great grandchildren Eli and Elayna Clorey.
Norma moved to Arichat with her husband and sons in 1971. Norma obtained her Funeral Director and Embalmers Licenses in November of 1980. She is also licensed by Service Nova Scotia under the Cemetery and Funeral Services Act to sell Trust and Insurance Funded Plans for pre-need funerals. Norma strongly believes in, and is very active in the Funeral Profession. Being the first female President of the Nova Scotia Licensed Embalmers and Funeral Directors Association, past Secretary Treasurer of the Funeral Service Association of Nova Scotia for many years. In June 2004, she was appointed by the FSANS to represent them on the Board of Directors of the Funeral Service Association of Canada. On June 6, 2009, she became the 2nd female in Canadian history, to be so honored to hold the title of President of the Funeral Service Association of Canada she stayed on this Board till 2011. Norma was a past director of the Planning Committee Advisory Board at Kingstec Community College with
