YOUTH SERVICES
▶ TEEN CREATING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES (TEEN CEO)
The Teen Creating Economic Opportunity (Teen C.E.O.) Program is for youth ages 14-18, currently in grades 9th-12th. A summer program that provides Flint and Genesee County youth with the opportunity to take a business idea and develop it into a business plan. The program focuses on entrepreneurial skills, abilities and attitudes; and prepares youth for what is required to become a part of this new economy. The youth will network with local business professionals for mentoring and job shadowing experiences. The youth will also receive a stipend for successfully meeting the program requirements at the end of program.
