WORKFORCE TRAINING
▶ ACCELERATED WELDING
This accelerated program is designed to impart useful state-of-the-art skills in the shortest possible timeframe. Students will be training in basic and advanced welding through virtual learning and hands-on practice. Upon completion, students will be eligible for entry level employment in this field. Included in this course is an American Welding Society (AWS) Certification test and 30 hours Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification. This class also articulates into credit hours towards a degree.
CREDENTIAL: Certificate of Completion, AWS & OSHA Certification testing Program Length: 320 Hours
▶ COMPUTER NUMERICAL CONTROL (CNC) OPERATOR
The Operator course is designed to introduce and expose students to the field of machining
and will cover this in the shortest possible timeframe. This accelerated course is designed to impart useful state-of-the-art skilled safety, shop math, metrology, blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerance, CNC Programming, CNC Tooling, CNC Machine Setup, CNC Machine Operation and Mastercam.
CREDENTIAL: National Career Readiness; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30; Mott Community College Career Credential
