  WORKFORCE TRAINING
▶ CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT
This program prepares participants to perform actual procedures in addition to the ability to observe the patient’s condition and report that information back to the nurse. Classroom instruction includes basic nursing, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and infection control. Students also gain plenty of hands-on experience during clinical activities.
CREDENTIAL: Certificate of Completion & State Certification Testing PROGRAM LENGTH: 120 Hours
▶ MEDICAL ASSISTANT
The program provides class instruction on basic human anatomy and physiology, disease processes, medical terminology, first aid, assisting with examinations, and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) procedures. Instructors also give direction on administrative office skills including medical charting and filing, basic word processing and computer information, customer service skills, and various other routine office procedures. After successfully completing the Medical Assistant (MA) program, students should be prepared to work in entry-level positions in a physician’s office, clinic, or other medical setting.
CREDENTIAL: Medical Terminology; Pharmacology; Insurance Coding; American Medical Technologist’s (AMT) Medical Assistant (RMA) Certification; Mott Community College Career Credential Certificate
