WORKFORCE TRAINING
▶ MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
This program prepares students to function effectively in many of the administrative and clerical positions in the healthcare industry. Program includes classroom and supervised clinical training in medical terminology, medical office management, healthcare technology, medical law and ethics, safety and health, and professional components. Students who successfully complete this program will be eligible to take the American Medical Technologist (AMT) certification exam. Students who successfully pass the certification exam will be a Certified Medical Administrative Specialist (CMAS).
CREDENTIAL: Certificate of Completion; CMAS Certification Testing
PROGRAM LENGTH: 600 hours Classroom, 160 Externship
