Expo FAQ

1. Location of the event: Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Hall J, 900 Convention
Center Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70130.

2. Where is parking located and what is reimbursement? The parking location
recommended near Morial Convention Center are Lots H, J and K. There is a lot of
construction in the area so you will have to plan early to receive a spot and arrive at the
convention center on time. The parking is $36/day. Here is the parking information link:

3. How will we be reimbursed for food or parking? AARP New Orleans will reimburse for
parking. Please keep your receipts and submit a ticket for reimbursement. If you use
the Volunteer Portal then you can submit your expense there using the code.

4. How do we retrieve access to exhibit hall? We will have exhibit badges at the booth.
Once the show opens, you are able to come directly to our booth for your shift.

5. What should we wear? AARP red t-shirts. For those that don’t have t-shirts you can
connect with staff and/or obtain shirts at the venue. Please provide a t-shirt size if you
do not have a red AARP t-shirt.

6. Where is the booth located? The AARP booth number is 527-Exhibit Hall J.
7. What entrance is the best/closest entrance – Hall J

8. What happens if we cannot reach a staffer prior to our shift? Who do we call? –

9. What time should we be there? You should be there 15-20 minutes before your shift
begins.
