Exhibit Social Media Activation Plan
Pre-Event
• Twitter: 4 tweets leading up to the event.
• Retweets of #DST, #AARPINOURCOMMUNITY
Event Social Media – MAE to send pic to IOI
• On-site photographer/videographer on Saturday, July 13 th to deliver images/video to IOI at Saturday
seminar for review/editing/posting
• Twitter snackable pics/videos from images of the AARP booth
• Twitter engagement, retweeting, and photo sharing from select images as delivered from IOI
• Intro— telling followers where you are (vertical)
• Outro— wrapping up the event (vertical)
Post Event Social Media management
• Event recap/sizzle real from images and video from the event
• IOI to provide basic analytics report and recap of engagement/impressions to MAE

• Shots of conference attendees engaging at the AARP booth area, such as:
o Guests entering/networking in the booth near AARP specific signage
o Candid and posed shots of high ranking members with AARP staffers
o Candid shots of lounge attendees engaging with each other and doing AARP booth activities
o Shots of people near AARP branded collateral (i.e. t-shirts, buttons, etc.)
o Boomerangs of the scene, event in progress
o Individual photos of speakers/celebrities
o Group photos
o Scenic shots, showing event signage and general view of the scene
o Short videos of speeches/activities

Photo and Video Delivery Format
• The ideal file formats are MOV or MP4. In other words, the resulting file name will look something like
AARP.mp4 or AARP.mov. The ideal Facebook video dimension is 720p (frame size of 1280px wide by
720px high).
