STELLAR AWARDS
Overview
The 34 th Annual Stellar Awards recognizes the achievements of
artists, writers and industry professionals in the Gospel Music
industry with a national broadcast syndicated in 140 markets. The
event takes place March 27 – March 29, 2019 at the Orleans Resort
and Casino Hotel in LasVegas, Nevada.
The event includes opportunities to increase brand awareness of
AARP with the general public and those attending in the Las Vegas
market through three key activities:
• A red carpet event featuring Gospel artist and Hollywood stars.
• A red carpet live stream with interviews and AARP promos.
• A sweepstakes drawing to attend the 2020 Stellar Awards.
• The AARP faith-based toolkit promotion to the viewing audience.
• The Post-Awards reception including VIP winners after the
broadcast.
Hosted by Kirk Franklin, honorees this year include a bevy of talent
across contemporary and traditional Gospel and performers include
Regina Belle, Erica Campbell, Charles Jenkins, Jonathan McReynolds
and Jekalyn Carr to name a few.
