The past ten years have been ones of
tremendous growth and change for our
community, for Faith Regional Health
Services, for medical technology and for
healthcare design and delivery.
As these changes have taken place, Faith
Regional Health Services has adapted.
Over the last ten years, our original double
occupancy patient rooms have been
replaced and upgraded to private patient
rooms in the Bed Tower. Equipment has
been installed that could not have been
envisioned when the hospital was first built. However, we now need more space for new technology and increased patient
care services and procedures.
The time has come for Faith Regional Health Services to expand our surgical center and specialty medical offices with the
construction of the new South Medical Office Building. This $43 million expansion will bring together multiple practices into a
highly-efficient, collaboratively-shared space, facilitating a common standard of care and culture. This expansion allows Faith
Regional Health Services to better meet the evolving needs of the community and is essential to the growth and strength of
our services. Because a Strong Faith, leads the way to a Healthy Future.
The Faith Regional Health Services Foundation has launched a $20 million capital campaign to support a portion of the $43
million construction project. The South Medical Office Building will contain the Faith Regional Outpatient Surgery Center,
Orthopedics, Women’s and Children’s and Surgical Specialties offices. The building will feature over 109,000 square feet of
medical offices, surgical rooms and pre-and post-operative rooms. The Faith Regional Surgical Center will more than double
in size. The modern best-practice design of this building will also meet the needs of patients in one space, increase patient
convenience and comfort, decrease wait times, and allow us to deliver health care services in a true patient-centered
approach. This expansion will also allow for Faith Regional Health Services to grow with the recruitment of more physicians
and additional specialties, bringing more expertise to our community.
As we strive to become the regional referral center of
northeast Nebraska, this expansion is critical for us to
properly serve the more than 150,000 residents in our
communities who rely on us for care each and every day,
year after year. Your contribution to this effort goes not
just to the hospital, but to every person we care for today,
tomorrow and for the years to come. Together, we make
a Strong Faith a Healthy Future. To make a pledge to
