Gas Equipment
HEATING TIPS
OXY/ACETYLENE
• Precision Machined to help Prevent flashback & back-fire
• Use with oxygen/acetylene
• Connects to P4-SHB Tube/Barrel
OPERATOR INFO:
• Heating with Oxy/Acetylene has limitations and hazards.
Care must be taken to ensure that the maximum draw-off
consumption rate of acetylene is not exceeded (consult
your gas supplier for details). For this reason, Acetylene
tips are available only up to size 2.
• Where possible, Weldclass recommends that Oxy/LPG
be used in preference to Oxy/Acetylene. LPG is safer and
less prone to flashback or backfire, and larger tip sizes
are available for heavy heating. LPG is also often only a
fraction of the cost of Acetylene.
