Crescent Bay, Karachi, Pakistan
One of the largest development projects
underway in all of Pakistan, Crescent Bay is
a high-end, mixed-used project situated on
108 acres in the Defense Housing Authority
Phase IIIV sector of Karachi. The development
features multiple high- and mid-rise towers,
a shopping mall, and a private beachfront
resort built on reclaimed land. Presently, five
residential towers are under construction out of
the around 50 planned, mixed-use towers the
project will ultimately entail. Since November
2017 Hill has been providing construction
supervision services on the landmark project.
Each of the five towers underway has one
podium plus 25 stories, and all are connected
by two basements and a luxurious podium.
Once complete, the towers will offer 770
luxurious apartments, penthouses, and
town houses featuring high-end finishes and
the latest in building management system
technology. The buildings also contain several
amenities, such as a swimming pool, sauna,
gymnasium, water features, underground
parking, retail outlets, restaurants, and more.
The total area of the towers is approximately
36,000 SQM with a built up area of around
288,000 SQM.
In addition to construction supervision, Hill
is also providing QA/QC and HSE supervision
services and contract management services.
A staff of more than 40 people has been
deployed.
Said Mneimne, Hill’s Vice President, Asia-
Pacific Region, said of the project, “Crescent
Bay is co-owned by the world-renowned real
estate developer EMAAR International, who
successfully developed the world’s tallest
tower Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Hill has a long
and successful relationship with Emaar on
several projects, and we are leveraging our
understanding of EMAAR’s processes and
