The church has recently been repaired and its ceramic-tile roof was replaced with a metal-sheet roof.

Consolidation project
in 2011, a new church, a belfry and a dormitory were built upon the remains of the church. The project was sponsored by donations of Serbs from Serbia and the Diaspora.
The remains of old tombstones can be seen around the dormitory.
The church was renovated in 1987 and it is in a good condition.
