Merchandising Updates NEW

Merchandising activity will cease for the holidays from 12/12/16 - 01/06/17.
o Difficult to schedule during this busy time for practices
o Scheduling calls to resume 01/09/2017 and visits to resume 01/16/2017.

During the Initial Business Planning Meeting, please capture any important scheduling
information that could impact merchandising.
o Any information we can get ahead of time will ensure a more smooth merchandising
experience.
o The information can be very brief, such as:
 "Do not call on Mondays"
 "Best time to visit is on Thursdays"
o Record in "Merchandising Notes" field of EE Opportunity in SFDC.

During the Initial Business Planning meeting, please confirm the merchandising contact in
SFDC is accurate.

o Remind practice that merchandising contact needs to be able to make decisions as to
selection and placement of pieces.

We are now referring to the first visit as the "initial merchandising survey" (not audit)
o Survey is a more accurate representation of what is happening (gathering information
and selecting material).
