ELECTRIC VEHICLE SAFETY PRODUCTS DEDICATED WEBSITE
Our products now sell into the growing Electric and Hybrid Vehicle (EHV) market where there remains a lack of a common approach to what is required to keep people safe from the risk of live electrical circuits. Every workshop needs a plan in the event of an incident and here it is critical that the rescuers can act safely to recover the casualty without becoming one themselves.
We are here to help!
Most electrical safety products are well suited to the automotive repair and service workshops and the working voltage of 1,000V. Insulation is essential in preventing you being the earth connection between the source and ground. Other protection is then necessary to protect from harmful arc flashes which could cause painful burns.
Essential electrical safety products, signage and specially selected kits, they represent outstanding value for covering each area of EV workshop and technician safety requirements.

    1 KEY PER LOCK
The LOTOTO safe working mandate is for
“1 lock per person” and we always reinforce this message with everyone we work with.
The market has commonly requested two keys with each lock to keep a spare safely stored in a key cabinet to enable a simple and safe lock removal process in the event of needing to remove a lock accidentally left in place.
We have now seen the market shift to wanting to eliminate the “risk” of being supplied the second key which could end in the possession of an uncontrolled user and people would rather us now remove this risk and prefer to purchase a second key separately if needed.
Consequently we are now globally moving to a single key per safety lock and new manufacturing batches are arriving with the single key as standard. Where possible we are using this cost reduction to offset price increases or even offer a cost saving and we have invested in key cutting equipment for extra keys needed. Due to the stocks involved there will be a rolling change so 2 keys may still be supplied unless specifically requested not to.
Thanks for your patience and feedback on this subject.
We have all seen some crazy pricing changes over the last 18 months and there is no end in sight. We have had to pass through PRICING increases on some products but with our own products we have looked at where we can help where we have improved production
processes and, in the case of some padlocks, reduced the cost with one less key.
We know that these price pressures will continue and we fully expect that it will be necessary to increase some product prices before the next catalogue. We will keep this to a minimum but please refer to our website for latest prices from the Summer ‘22 onwards.
