85 This knot is usually associated wi th small cordage,
particularly if slippery, making it a favourite amongst
fishermen for joining nylon lines etc. The knot
Blood Knot illustrated is the most common but there are several
variations.
Figs 1 to 3 show the right-hand half of the knot, after
which the process is repealed with the other end, working
in the opposite direction, Figs 4 and 5.
