your street images and explain the techniques
required and the thought process needed
to become a street master.

One of our more unusual exclusive Training Workshops aimed directly at the discerning photographer. Kenny has been teaching both
Professional and Amateur photographers all over the world since 1989 and is the recipient of many top accolades and awards. The
combination of Kenny’s fabulous teaching, combined with the location of the training facility at Tweedsmuir and the luxurious
accomodation make this one of the most specialist and exciting street photography classes available anywhere in the world.

This all inclusive residential one 2 one workshop comprises of 2 nights luxury accomodation and 3 days one 2 one training with Kenny,

Day Oneay One We start at 11am to allow you to get settled into your room and share some morning coffee with your hosts. The rest of the
day is spent on classroom training and the technical aspects of shooting the streets. We look in depth at the equipment needed and the
technical aspects of creating superior and artistic street images. Kenny shoots in 3 very distinct styles. The first is ‘Shooting from the Hip’
This of course is essentially shooting blind and some special techniques are required for the results to be successful. The next is ‘Observational’
l
looking for the picture to happen, anticipating and planning.ooking for the picture to happen, anticipating and planning. The third is ‘Street Portraits’ this is the discipline that throws most people, the ability
to go up to a complete stranger and ask them if you can shoot there portrait is a rare talent. Afterwards, around 6pm you may have some time
to relax with a glass of malt or a fine wine before a delicious dinner and some photography talk with your hosts.
Day Two 9am Start. In the morning we drive to Edinburgh to
demonstrate the different ways to shoot the streets. In the morning
we will concentrate on Shooting from the Hip. We will stop
for a traditional Scottish lunch in a famous Edinburgh pub and

resume our shooting in the afternoon concentrating on esume our shooting in the afternoon concentrating on
Observational. On our return to The Old Post Office at around 6pm
you will have a couple of hours to chill out before dinner and a
discussion of the images shot during the day.
Day Three 9am Start. Back to Edinburgh, Today is Street Portrait
day. We will spend time walking the streets, stopping interesting
subjects and making portrait! After lunch we will head back to
the training room athe training room at Tweedsmuir where we will post produce and
t
prepere the images for printing We will also discuss the printing
process and show how to get perfect Fine Art Images. You will
head home with some beautiful Fine Art Prints of your work as a
momento of the course. We normally finish the day at 5pm and than
it is time to say goodbye.
