Dewan Tunku Canselor

The Dewan Tunku Canselor was officially opened on 25 June 1966 and named after the university’s
first Chancellor, Tunku Abdul Rahman. Dewan Tunku Canselor is the venue for the university’s
convocation ceremony and other important events. It also has been given the recognition as an
iconic example of Brutalism architecture and was declared a National Heritage Site in 2005.
