 corresponding to the Twelve Tribes, from whom Moshe took his leave in
 parashat Vezot Haberachah.
 The initials of the words  is numerically equivalent to eleven,
 intimating the exclusion of Shevet Shimon. This was in order to ward off
 the Middat Hadin. The last word in the Torah is  and the first word
 is  . The initials of these two words spell  , the Twelve Tribes,
 in whose merit the world stands. Shevet Shimon is still a vital part of the
 Twelve Tribes.
