Notwithstanding the distance one must keep from the gentiles, he must
show them respect and help them. In this way, Hashem’s Name is
sanctified.
“Hashem spoke to Moshe on Mount Sinai,
saying: Speak to the Children of Israel and say
to them: When you come into the land that I
give you, the land shall observe a Sabbath rest
for Hashem”

“A widow, and a divorcee, and a chalalah, a
zonah – he shall not marry these; only a virgin
of his people shall he take as a wife”
