Pre‐sale activities :
o Act as resident expert in Gene Expression, Genotyping and Re‐sequecing related techniques for both high and
low throughput Affymetrix platforms including automated platforms (Liquid handling robots, GeneTitan)
o Work closely with Regional account managers to position, promote and develop technical selling strategies,
o Deliver presentations (conferences, seminars) and organise hardware and software demonstration as well as
manage pilot studies when needed (including Experimental design, execution, data analysis, report generation).
Post‐sale activities :
o Organize, lead and deliver system installations and technical training at customers’ sites,
o Provide technical support to customers in solving applications problems on site and through telephone
communication (Assay, hardware and software troubleshooting, often under challenging conditions),
o Analyze data, samples, and operating procedures to identify solutions to customer inquiries,
o Monitor customer satisfaction and ensure update of technical information on regular basis.

and bioinformatics analysis...),
Genomic Synthesis : DNA, RNA and siRNA oligonucleotides design & synthesis services including Dharmacon product line,
Genomic Information : Sequencing Services (from single read to full genome sequencing projects (ESTs, BAC, Re‐
sequencing...) including bio‐informatics analysis (Mutation, clustering and assembly, Genome annotations...).
Main Technical and Marketing Aspects covered:
o Sales force motivation & development of collaboration with Key opinion leaders,
o Operational Marketing: Product catalogue, Pricelist establishment, Product promotion (Seminar, Workshop…),
o Sales lead follow‐up and new lead generation, Product demonstrations,
o Sales forecasting, Achieving business objectives via either National tenders or technical quotation process,
