28 Annual Report 2018 - Department of Finance 2017 Achievements
Several achievements were accomplished within this outputs group during 2017. Following are the highlights of those achievements:
Collected all taxes imposed on operating oil and gas companies in the Emirate.
Completed Phase 1 of the Government VAT Readiness Program.
Established the “DOF VAT Group” comprising 60 Government Entities.
Completed Phase 1 of the Costing and Repricing Project for Government services.
Developed the final draft for the Government Services Pricing Manual.
Analysed and processed 75 operational requests for Government pricing services.
Monitored and followed up the collection of non-tax revenues and ensured that funds were transferred to the Emirate’s treasury.
