Despite the difficult economic conditions in the region and the world, the Department managed during 2017 to maintain the credit rating of Abu Dhabi with a stable outlook as confirmed by the credit ratings agencies. Standard & Poor's Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings affirmed the credit ratings for Abu Dhabi at AA/A-1+ and AA respectively and maintained the future outlook of Abu Dhabi as stable. Also Moody's Investors Service affirmed the credit ratings for Abu Dhabi at Aa2 while changed its outlook from negative to stable.
Collected all the necessary information related to Government loans such as agreements, interest rates and the repayments schedules, along with the assessment of the probabilities of collecting those loans and debtors' ability to repay them, in addition to the potential and suitable electronic systems required to capture and follow up the movement of each loan in the Department’s records.
