UN-BELIEVABLY GRAND HOTEL

        Located on northern Michigan’s Mackinac Island, Grand Hotel is a one-of-a-kind experience. This
        family-owned National Historic Landmark is rich in history, a place where time moves at the pace
        of horse-drawn carriages and bicycles. Here, meals are an event and traditions such as Afternoon
        Tea in the Parlor and nightly dancing remain a noteworthy part of the guest experience. Take a step
        away from it all, take in spectacular views from the world’s longest porch, and unwind in the warm
        hospitality that has been charming guests for more than 130 years.

        RESERVATIONS
        Grand Hotel offers exceptional accommodations, with each guest room uniquely decorated by interior
        designer Carleton Varney of Dorothy Draper & Co. in New York City. The Grand Hotel operates on the
        Modified American Plan, which includes full breakfast and five-course dinner daily for each registered
        hotel guest.

        Convention Room Block Cut-off Date: Friday, May 18
        Convention rooms start at $235/person per night for double occupancy and $377/person per night for single
        occupancy. Online reservations are not available. Call your association to request the convention reservation
        form. Discounted convention rooms are available for registered convention participants only.

        A deposit for the first two nights is required with reservations. Deposits will be refunded, less a $45
        processing fee, with notice of cancellation at least 10 days prior to scheduled arrival. Reservations
        cancelled less than 10 days prior will forfeit the room deposits.

        ATTIRE
        Attire for daytime Convention functions is business casual or resort casual clothing. The Grand Hotel
        experience includes dressing up for dinner. After 6:30 p.m., business or semi-formal attire is required
        (including dresses, skirts or dress slacks for women and a suit coat and necktie for men). Children 12
        and older are expected to follow the recommended dress code. Visit the Grand Hotel web site at

        CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING
        The magic of Mackinac Island and the Grand Hotel is the perfect setting for children. Grand Hotel
        offers special children’s activities including both an afternoon and evening program, offering a variety
        of activities unique to Mackinac Island. Amenities include: game room, lawn games, biking, swimming,
        tennis, arts and crafts, and scavenger hunts.

        GETTING THERE

               Ferry Service – Mackinac Island can be accessed from Mackinaw City (Lower Peninsula)
              or St. Ignace (Upper Peninsula). Tickets may be purchased in advance from Shepler’s Ferry
              at www.sheplersferry.com. Use Promotion Code TRI2018 for special discounted tickets.
              Round-trip tickets are $19/adults; $10/children 5-7; and free for children 4 and under.

               Taxi – It is a short walk from the ferry docks to the Grand Hotel. Horse-drawn taxi service is also
              available for a fee. Taxis greet most ferry boats arriving at Mackinac Island. Advanced reservations
              are available at (906) 847-3323. Taxi fare is $5/person each way.

               Air – Mackinac Island is serviced by the Pellston Airport, 12 miles south of Mackinaw City. Commercial
              air service to Pellston is available daily through Delta Airlink out of Detroit. Shuttle service to the
              ferry docks may be found at www.mackinawshuttle.com.
