Summary
The Aviation Security Exercise Workshop was held from 18 to 22 November 2024, at The Navy House Hotel, Sattahip District, Chonburi, with 52 participants. The workshop was led by Mr. Pattarapong Padungwong, Senior Aviation Security and Facilitations Standards Officer, and Ms. Atitaya Chansuthep, Aviation Security and Facilitations Standards Officer. Both speakers are certified AVSEC inspectors and graduates of the CASP-AP Exercise Workshop by ICAO, specializing in civil aviation security exercise.
This workshop consists of lectures, experience sharing, guideline discussions, and a practical simulation exercise at U-Tapao Airport. The training successfully met its objectives through active participation and collaboration from all attendees, enabling a practical learning experience aligned with aviation security protocols.

Results
Airport operators and relevant civil aviation security personnel enhanced their knowledge and practical skills in conducting full-scale aviation security exercises in accordance with the national security framework. Participants gained a deeper understanding of procedures outlined in the Airport Contingency Plan and improved their readiness and response to Acts of Unlawful Interference, ensuring more effective use of security resources and reducing the risk of operational disruptions.
