CAAT and the Rom Sai Rescue Foundation Sign MOU on the Development of Unmanned Aircraft for Rescue, Disaster Relief, and Public Benefit
เม้อวันพิุ่ธที่่ 5 มิถึุนายน 2567 สำําานักงานการบิินพิ่ลเรอ้ น แห่งปีระเที่ศไที่ย (CAAT) และม้ลนิธิก้้ภัยร่มไที่ร ร่วมลงนาม ในบิันที่ึกคัวามเข้าใจว่าด้้วยคัวามร่วมม้อด้้านการพิ่ัฒนา อากาศยานซึ่ึงไม่ม่นักบิิน สำําาหรับิการก้้ภัย บิรรเที่าสำาธารณ์ภัย และการใช่้ปีระโยช่น์เพิ่้อการสำาธารณ์ะโด้ยม่นายขจรพิ่ัฒน์ มากลิน รองผู้้้อําานวยการสำําานักงานการบิินพิ่ลเรอ้ นแห่งปีระเที่ศไที่ย และ นายวิช่าญ ม่นช่ัยนันที่์ ปีระธานม้ลนิธิก้้ภัยร่มไที่ร เปี็นปีระธาน ในพิ่ิธ่ลงนาม

On 5 June 2024, The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and the Romsai Rescue Foundation signed MOU on the cooperation in developing unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for rescue operations, disaster relief, and public benefit. The signing ceremony was presided over by Mr. Kajonpat Maklin, Deputy Director General of The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and Mr. Wichan Meenchainan, President of the Rom Sai Rescue Foundation.
The objective of the MOU is to establish cooperation in promoting, supporting, and developing knowledge and capabilities related to the use of unmanned aircraft for emergency response and public service. Under this agreement, the Rom Sai Rescue Foundation will set up designated areas for the development and training of unmanned aircraft operations (drones), aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of personnel, volunteers, and the general public. These efforts will empower them to effectively apply drone technology in their assigned duties and missions for the public good.
