ในปีีที่่ผู้่านมา กพิ่ที่. ได้้ขับิเคัล้อนงานสำําาคััญหลายโคัรงการ เช่่น การออกใบิรับิรองการด้ําาเนินงานสำนามบิินสำาธารณ์ะให้แก่ ที่่าอากาศยานในภ้มิภาคั เพิ่้อยกระด้ับิมาตัรฐานสำนามบิินในพิ่้นที่่ให้ เที่่ยบิเที่่าระด้ับิสำากล นอกจากน่เรายังได้้ด้ําาเนินมาตัรการเช่ิงรุก เพิ่้อแกไขปีัญหาตััวโด้ยสำารราคัาสำง้ โด้ยการออกมาตัรการช่ว่ ยเหล้อ เพิ่มิ จําานวนเที่ย่ วบินิ ในช่ว่ งเที่ศกาลสำําาคััญ เช่น่ เที่ศกาลสำงกรานตั์และ เที่ศกาลปีใี หม่ เพิ่อ้ ตัอบิสำนองคัวามตั้องการของปีระช่าช่นอยา่ งเตั็มที่่ อ่กหนึงคัวามสำําาเรจ็ ที่่น่าภาคัภ้มิใจคั้อการเตัรย่ มคัวามพิ่รอ้ มสำําาหรบิั การคั้นสำถึานะมาตัรฐานที่างการบิินของปีระเที่ศในระด้ับิซึ่่งเปี็นที่่ ยอมรบิั ของสำากลหรอ้ การถึก้ จด้ั อันด้ับิให้อยใ้่ น Category I จากการ ปีระเมนิ ของ Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ตัามโคัรงการ International Aviation Safety Assessment Program (IASA) ซึ่ึงแม้ว่าผู้ลการปีระเมินเบิ้องตั้นจากที่่มตัรวจสำอบิของ FAA จะยังม่ ข้อตัรวจพิ่บิ (Findings) อย่้จําานวนหนึง แตั่เราก็มันใจว่าจาก คัวามพิ่ยายามในการแกไขปีัญหา อย่างคัรบิถึ้วนคัรอบิคัลุมและ ตัรงปีระเด้็นมากขนึ รวมถึึงการพิ่จิ ารณ์าที่กุ รายละเอย่ ด้อยา่ งเจาะลึก ทีุ่กด้้าน โด้ยการร่วมม้อกันที่ําางานระหว่างผู้้้บิรหิ ารและเจ้าหน้าที่่ของ กพิ่ที่. กับิการสำนับิสำนุนของพิ่ันธมิตัรหลักอย่างสำําานักคัวามปีลอด้ภัย การบิินแห่งยุโรปี (European Aviation Safety Agency: EASA) และสำําานักงานการบิินพิ่ลเรอ้ นฝ่รงั เศสำ (French Civil Aviation Authority:DGAC)จะม่โอกาสำสำง้ สำุด้ที่่ปีระเที่ศไที่ยจะได้้รบิั การปีรบิั ระด้ับิมาตัรฐานการบินิในคัรงัน่ซึ่งึการได้้รบิัสำถึานะน่จะเปีิด้โอกาสำให้ สำายการบิินของไที่ยที่ะยานขึนฟื้้าอย่างมันคัง สำามารถึที่ําาการบิินตัรง สำ่้สำหรฐั อเมรกิ าได้้ ซึ่ึงถึ้อเปี็นก้าวสำําาคััญที่่จะช่่วยให้อุตัสำาหกรรม การขนสำ่งที่างอากาศของไที่ยขยายตััว และเปี็นที่่ยอมรบิั ในระด้ับิโลก
ในฐานะผู้อ้้ ําานวยการสำําานกั งานการบินิ พิ่ลเรอ้ นแห่งปีระเที่ศไที่ย ผู้มขอขอบิคัณ์ุ คัวามเสำย่ สำละ คัวามมงุ่ มนั คัวามที่มุ่ เที่ และคัวามรว่ มมอ้ จากที่กุ ที่่านที่ม่ สำ่ ่วนในการสำรา้ งสำรรผู้ลสำัมฤที่ธอิ ันน่าภาคัภม้ ใิ จเหล่าน่ และหวังเปี็นอย่างยิงว่าในอนาคัตัทีุ่กภาคัสำ่วนจะยังคังคัวามร่วมม้อ และร่วมใจขับิเคัล้อนอุตัสำาหกรรมการบิินของปีระเที่ศให้ก้าวไปี ข้างหน้าอย่างพิ่ร้อมเพิ่รย่ ง และเช่้อมันอย่างแน่วแน่ว่าคัวามร่วมม้อ ของเราทีุ่กคัน จะนําาพิ่าอุตัสำาหกรรมการบิินของไที่ยไปีสำ่้การเตัิบิโตั อย่างยังย้นในระด้ับิสำากล
Such progress also positions Thailand to become one of the world’s leading hubs for aviation and air transportation, as anticipated.
Aligned with the Thai Government’s strategy to strengthen the country’s position as a global tourism destination, the latest ranking of “10 most visited city in 2024” by Euromonitor,— a leading global data and market analysis firm — placed Bangkok as the No.1 city destination for tourists in 2024. This achievement reflects Thailand’s potential as a tourism hub and reinforces the International Air Transport Association (IATA)’s prediction that, by 2031, Thailand will rank 9th in the world in terms of total passenger volume. Realizing this goal requires clear strategic direction and a shared national commitment. To establish an aviation hub, the country needs to present well-rounded strengths in infrastructure and service excellence to ensure competitiveness in universal standard. Collaboration across all sectors is essential to streamline procedures and accelerate progress towards this objective. The growth of the aviation sector will not only enhance Thailand’s global connectivity but will also facilitate the expansion of the tourism industry, a vital contributor to the country’s economy.
Throughout the past year, CAAT has implemented many projects such as issuance of certificate to certify operation of public aerodrome in the region to elevate airport standard and meet universal excellence. We also deploy proactive measures to solve airfare pricing issues by launching supportive programs to increase flights and accommodate passengers’ needs during festive season such as Songkran and New Year. One of our most notable achievements has been the preparation for the restoration of Category I status under the International Aviation Safety Assessment (IASA) program conducted by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Following the FAA’s initial assessment, several findings were identified. CAAT remains fully committed to addressing these findings with thorough attention to detail. Management and working teams of CAAT have collaborated with key partners, European Aviation Safety Agency: EASA and French Civil Aviation Authority: DGAC. We are confident that this effort will enable Thailand to regain Category I accreditation, paving the way for direct flights to the United States and reinforcing the country’s position as a trusted global aviation partner.
