MESSAGE
From Co-Chairperson
take pleasure in the celebration of the manifestation of a vision to emulate the
genius and excellence of the well- known Springdales School which has now
I found resonance in its sister school here in Dubai, UAE.
‘Rome was not built in a day’ and our school community is still growing and
developing. Its character is being forged in the white heat of efforts to build a
world class education; quintessentially Indian, yet innovatively international.
Outward looking and embracing modern learning technologies, yet holding fast
to traditional family values with the accent on service to others. This second
edition of Primavera shows a school that is developing its own character and self-
confidence.
The pages contain many artistic creations by our Dubai Springdalians. Each
attests to the skills and imagination of the students who produced them and also
the teachers who inspire and encourage them to be creative. There is beauty not
only in the artwork, poetry and prose, but also in the rapport between teacher
and student.
The real spirit of Springdales lies in its creative energy and belief in oneness of
the universe; the principle of‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ which means ‘The World is
a Family.
Springdales is on a journey. It remains undaunted in its march towards continuous
improvement in the pursuit of excellence. We are adaptable and dedicated to
achieving our goals. Whatever the difficulties, our focus always remains upon
meeting the needs and aspirations of each student, enabling them to fulfill their
potential and to ‘dream big’. I am confident that the students studying here will
emerge as independent critical thinkers and problem solvers and will continue to
evolve as lifelong learners.
If the contents of Primavera are to go by, Sprindales is making good progress.
It is carving out a niche for itself in academic achievement, support for SEND
students, sport, conservation and service to others. Our focus is on building a
strong base of teaching, learning and nurture of ethical values. We are proud
to be part of the wider Springdales community and vision and a tribute to our
Founder, Dr. Mrs. Rajni Kumar. The genuine affection between our students and
our Founder is very special.
With guidance of the Springdales Education Society, our proactive and engaged
parent community, our dedicated school leaders and staff and the energy and
enthusiasm of our students across the school, I have no doubt that we have a
bright future.
