rt is a marrelous medium for students to express how they feel. We offer students art and craft from all spectrums of life
and let them explore. Students are provided opportunities for self-expression, bringing the inner world into the outer
Aworld of concrete reality. Students get knowledge of various blends, mediums, textures and techniques in art. Children
learned and emulated various artists like Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Van gogh, M.F Husain, Indian artists like Jamini Roy
thus understanding abstract art, impressionist art, modern art of different eras and countries. Students created sculptures like
Innovation, Wall of fame depicting various artists. Students of grade 8 painted a life size camel in UAE theme. Students were tak-
en outdoors to understand nature study, learn flaura, fauna and scenes from nature. Students understood realism through still
life study. Students worked on various artworks with thematic learning. They did cross curricular themes with Science, Arabic,
Maths and English. Children explored zentangle art, doodle art, pattern art, Optical art through different patterns, lines, shapes
and movement. Students understood out of the box thinking , enhanced imagination, creativity and learnt to become divergent
thinkers. Students experimented with various craft activities like mobile hangings, puppets, paper folding etc.
