WHAT WE CURRENTLY DO IN OUR LAB FOR PATIENTS WITH mH
• We perform the test on request
• For each sample, we evaluate the
morphology of 100 RBCs and calculate the percent of isomorphic RBCs, dysmorphic RBCs & of acanthocytes. In addition, we look for RBC casts over 50/lpfs
• Due to the possibility of a transient non glomerular haematuria, for each patient we examine 3 samples supplied over a period of 2-4 weeks
