What is a warranty?

- "A written guarantee, issued to the purchaser
of an article by its manufacturer, promising
to repair or replace it if necessary within
a specified period of time."

At 3M, we have two types of warranties.
The 3M™ Basic Product Warranty and the
3M™ MCS™ Warranty.

The 3M™ Basic Product Warranty is standard for
every product. When you open the original package
you should receive a product with no physical dam-
age, no visual defects and no Adhesive Defects.

The 3M™ MCS™ warranty covers full finished
graphic warranty, including qualified MCS™ inks*,
non-prorated. We are proud to support the most
comprehensive warranty in the industry, backed by
years of science. Test us!

Durability

vs Warranty

Durability is the expected performance life and tell
us how long a finished graphic would last used in
perfect conditions. Durability makes not promises
compared to warranty.
Warranty tell us how long a finished graphic would
last if used in real world and weather conditions like
sun, heat, cold, snow or rain. The warranty is the
length of time in which 3M will replace and/or
reimburse for the claim if the case.
