Directors FIAP Strengthens International Photographic Ties During China Visit Directors
FIAP Vice President and Director of the Promotion and Partnership Service

FIAP strengthened its global presence during a visit to China
from 13 to 21 May 2026, reinforcing its commitment to international
cooperation, cultural exchanges, and photography as a universal
language.
The FIAP delegation was led by FIAP President Riccardo Busi, with
Vice President David Tay, Secretary General Ioannis Lykouris, and
Board Member Romain Nero, accompanied by Zeng Yi, Representative
of the FIAP Coordinating Office in China.

The programme began at the China Industrial News Agency,
where discussions focused on promoting industrial photography
through joint exhibitions, competitions, and academic exchanges,
encouraging global photographers to document China’s industrial

The delegation also visited the Heyuan Museum at the invitation
of the Beijing International Peace Culture Foundation Chairman, Li Ruohong, who presented the
Foundation’s international work, including UNESCO cooperation, the Heyuan Peace Festival, and the
Global Youth Photography Grand Prix.
A key highlight was FIAP and the Foundation agreed to co-organise the United Nations Day of
Peace World Youth Photography Art Exhibition. Both sides also agreed to a strategic partnership,
later formalised at a press conference in the Friendship Hall of the Beijing Exhibition Centre, attended
by over 100 international guests and media representatives.
