The FIAP Exhibition Centre in Dublin has continued to host exhibitions and presentations
for its members and for the general public who can visit the Gallery each Saturday. The FEC
is hosted by the Dublin Camera Club who are celebrating 80 years of existence in 2026.

The FIAP Exhibition Centre, Rio

In January 2026 we continued our ongoing exchange with the members of Edinburgh
Photographic Society, one of the oldest in the world. This is an annual exchange where we send
images to EPS who exhibit them in their Gallery and in turn they send images to us for exhibition in
our Gallery, under FIAP Auspices and as part of the FEC programme.

This exchange started many years ago and has continued ever since, with a small break due to
the Covid lockdowns.

We had 30 prints from the members of Edinburgh on show representing a good cross-section of
their members and their interests. It was well attended and received very positive feedback.

An Invitation to the World

The creation of this space dedicated to imagery is the fulfilment of a dream shared by all who
are passionate about the universal visual language. The Rio Photography Center seeks to honor the
legacy of 19th-century pioneers while promoting contemporary visual storytellers.
Don’t Leave Me This Way
We invite the global photographic community to discover this space of celebration: from imperial by Martin Watt
history and Black and Indigenous resistance to the solemnity of monuments; from the beauty of
beaches and landscapes to the diversity and explosion of life in Rio’s streets. Rio de Janeiro’s FEC
awaits you to celebrate the art that eternalizes life.
