Activity: Finding HCF using colour strips of different measurement
An Introductory activity was conducted for the students on the topic ‘Factors and
multiples’ to explain the concept of HCF. The students were asked to keep the 4 strips of
different colours and different measurements ready. The measurements were 64 cms, 28
cms, 8 cms and 4 cms. As per the instructions of the facilitator, they did the activity and
found the HCF for 64 and 28.
This activity helped the students to understand the concept better and they also enjoyed
the activity.
