Global Service Team
We are now on the home stretch of the Centennial Service Challenge. Sixty-Five percent of the clubs of District 2-X1 have completed this! To you, thanks for the service you have provided.
In addition, there are 10 clubs that are only lacking 1 project to complete their plan! I'm sure that the clubs have probably actually completed a project, but have been lax in reporting it.
Lions of Cedar Hill, Crandal-Combine, Dallas Frisco, Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Preston, Ferris, Maybank, Mesquite, Red Oak and Waxahachie are missing just 1 project to complete the challenge.
I believe that you can accomplish this in the next month! Let's do it for District 2-X1.

 Global Action Team
The Global Action Team consists of the GLT, GMT and the newly created GST. By working together as one team, the Global Action Team, along with LCIF, will enable us to expand on our motto, "We Serve," as it takes on a new and unified approach to service, membership and leadership development at all levels of the association. The Global Action Team will launch on July 1st.
Please join the Global Action Team Chairperson, Past International President Dr. Wing-Kun Tam, as he shares the vision and mission of the Global Action Team and how the Global Action Team will be a valuable resource to all Lions!
Look for Past International President Dr. Tam who will be presenting information on the Global Action Team during the area leadership forums throughout the year.
Additional information is also be available on our Lionsclubs.org website.
