Lion David jumped in with both feet when he joined. He accepted the challenge of leading the Club’s Peace Poster contest and the Sachse Lions Club back to back District Winners! Lion David also started the Sachse Leo’s Club and serves as their advisor. He is the District 2-X1 Lion Tamer. Lion David and his family represents the Lions Motto “We Serve” very well, and that is why we are proud to have Lion David as our 2016-2017 Grass Roots Lion.

Lion Judy is worthy because “SHE SERVES”. As a retired DISD teacher after 37 years, she continues teaching by Substituting in our local schools. Lion Judy serves on the Seagoville Public Library, Lee Cemetery Association & Seagoville Senior Citizen Housing Corporation boards. Lion Judy attends & participates in all fundraisers & community actives. She is currently Club Secretary & serves on the Golf Tournament & Scholarship committees. She is a great asset to Seagoville Sunset Lions Club.

Lion Marcus is a shining example of Lionism. He is always ready to volunteer to serve in any role. Whether it is making snow cones on the Concessions Trailer or riding a Gator delivering water at the Hachie50 Race, he works tirelessly. You can clearly see he has a heart of a Lion. His genuine heart & hands are always ready to make a difference. Not only does he work on Lions projects, but is also a huge supporter of the Miracle League. We are so proud of Marcus and excited for him to be our 2016-2017 Grass Roots Lion.
