Lion Debbie hit the ground running and was singing “I am a Lion” while modelling her vest for the club! She has helped in numerous activities since joining including the Goal Ball Tournament, Sports Extravaganza, Canine Companions, 2 low vision clinics and work day at the Texas Lions Camp. She will serve as our 3rd Vice President for the coming Lion’s year. She is a retired health inspector and special education teacher. We are very fortunate to have a caring and hardworking member like Debbie.

Lion Larry D. McKinney

Lion Larry is a great asset to our Lions Organization. He is always willing to help out, even sitting on the sunny & hot golf course for a double shift. He has held various positions on the Board of Directors. Not only is he a GREAT Lion volunteer, but he also volunteers 30hrs a week at the Greenville Salvation Army. We are very proud to have Lion Larry as our 2016-2017 Grass Roots Lion.

Lion Anto has been very active ever since his induction. He joined Lions because he wanted to serve the community with his children, so that they would learn the importance of being service minded. Soon after he joined he took the initiative to start a LEO Club (DFW Leo Club) which now has 13 active Leos who participate in many service activities and will visit the Texas Lions Camp this summer. Lion Anto is currently out 3rd Vice President, a true inspiration and an amazing Grass Roots Lion.

Lion Judy hit the deck running in our Club. She’s made over 50 “pillowcase dresses” & arranged to send them to Haiti. She’s made “puppy blankets” for Canine Companions for Independence for the puppy raising & training. She has chaired our “Dine & Donte” program this year, successfully hosting several social outings for our members while raising funds for our projects. She also sings with the Irving Silverstones, and is a Navy Veteran. She is a true inspiration and an amazing Grass Roots Lion.
