Lion Alexander has been active in all the club’s projects. He has assisted in all of the eye glass clinics, regular meeting set-up and has assisted with the two local parades sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. He certainly lives up to the Lions Motto “We Serve”.
Ferris Lions Club
Lion Patty Morales

Lion Patty is a school nurse for Ferris ISD giving vision screening tests to the students. She completes the documentation for further testing by an Optometrist and when the glasses are ready the Club pays the bill. She brought her screening equipment to the Vision screening event sponsored by the City of Ferris to provide screening for everyone that wanted to be checked. She is the driving force for eye care in Ferris.
Forney Lions Club
Lion Dianna Parnell

Lion Dianna is a wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, friend, business owner and community icon. She jumped into Lions by sponsoring community events including the quarter auction for the “Back the Blue” after the recent massacre, raising over $7,500 in 2 weeks. She is passionate about the wellness of the community, helping others and seeing that the community needs are met. She is currently a Director and an integral part of the Forney Lions Club and chairs the annual Christmas Angel Tree program benefitting over 200 children and 90 families.

Lion Conrad immediately became Director of Communications and introduced social media by creating our Facebook page. He is a Ham Radio Operator and actively supports the VRC program. He has brought an immediate and positive impact to our club and is very supporting of our fundraising projects as well as being active in the District. He is currently serving as our Treasurer and will also be 1st Vice President next year. It is our honor to name him the Grass Roots Lion as he exemplifies the motto “We Serve”.
