Lion Ron immediately took over the duties of Lion Tamer arriving very early to set up the meeting place. He would then prepare the snacks and beverages as well as clean up after the meeting was over. He serves a liaison with the meeting place management to ensure adequate facilities. This is no easy feat due to his handicap as he serves as an inspiration to all club members. He regularly volunteers through his church to help others and embodies our motto “We Serve”.

Lion John assisted Lion Allen to come to our meetings and events for 2 years before joining. He attended our meetings and assisted the club by taking photographs and assisting Lion Allen with posting pictures and notices to our Facebook page. Since becoming a member of the club he has been very active working with the Desoto Living Festival and vision screening event. We were able to screen over 50 individuals. He has been a very positive force within the club.

Lion Doyce Smith

Lion Doyce is committed to serve where ever needed as noted by his community involvement as a member of city boards and the school board over the years. He has been very active as a Lion having served on the Lions Living Center Committee, and as a 2 year member of the Board he assists with the take down and storage of the sound equipment for the meetings. He has participated in several fundraising projects as well as the 4th of July Parade and Lions Park Clean up. This involvement exemplifies a “Lion That Serves”.
Duncanville Evening Branch Lions Club
Lion Laura Kyle

Lion Laura has been a dedicated member following her father’s example as a Lion volunteering where her busy schedule permitted for the Las Vegas Night and the 4th of July Parade. She served as our inaugural president for 2 years and has sponsored several members. She also loves dearly her four legged kids, Peanut and Butter. She enjoys travelling when she is not working or volunteering.
