Lion Suresh has been very dedicated towards the service activities of the club. He has a deep engagement with the community where he always embodies an example of service and giving back to society in various community activities. He has served as Lion Tamer and is currently serving as Secretary. His dedication has helped the club to smartly align with and keep up with the service projects of the District and LCI as a whole. He has helped the club to become more recognized in the community.

Lion Helen joined Lions driven by her passion for helping children, especially those with Special needs and physical disabilities. She volunteered at the Sports Extravaganza and through her employer donated 250 backpacks for disabled children. She has enthusiastically volunteered for the vision screenings for pre-school children. She is currently a Director and chaired the induction/ membership drive. She is a 10 year registered nurse in the Pediatric Day Surgery of the Medical City Dallas Children’s Hospital.

Lion Laxmi is an amazing lady who has been actively involved for years in the community tirelessly doing philanthropic work. She undertook the challenge of forming a Lions Club and has dedicated time, effort and energy to make this happen. She personally reached out to many and built up the membership while arranging the meetings and educating the members on the vision and mission of the Lions Clubs. She leads by example and is truly deserving of this honor.

Lion Charlie is not always able to attend meetings because of other commitments but tries to help when we have activities like our annual service project “Operation Santa” where we take needy students shopping for clothes. The Dallas Founders Lions Club members have enjoyed having him as a member. He did an outstanding job as our Peace Poster Chair. We look forward to seeing what he can do in the future.
