Global Membership Team
KEEP THE SUCCESS GROWING
We are proud of our our two new clubs; the Dallas North Indo Centennial Lions Club and the DFW Indian Centennial Lions Club. We are also very gratified to have the new Dallas Founders branch club that is being chartered with at least 10 charter members, all of whom are young professionals and
some of who have already made their reservations for the International Convention
next month in Chicago.
The members of these new clubs, along with the efforts of our existing clubs in District X-1, have our district in the “plus column” for membership this year. And, we still have one more month to go to improve those numbers and move into the new Lions year with membership momentum. Our Global Membership Team is available to come to your club, join with you in a membership drive, work with you to craft a plan to improve your membership and help you build the kind of club you want.
Please contact me and let’s arrange a time for me (or another member of the GLT) to visit your club and get started making good on your plans for growth. Let’s insure that this Lions year will be a year when we keep the membership momentum moving toward new levels of membership in your club, in District 2-X1, and in the Lions of Texas.

(Lion Bill from Page 1 ) fortunate in their community with clothing, and school supplies. They are planning additional activities that will reach beyond their local community to help others that are less fortunate.
A special thank you to the LSTF Board and President Danny Fletcher for leading several of our Lions as they participated in the Opening Eyes project at the Special Olympics held at UTA. This project is designed to provide screenings and other services to these special athletes.
As we enter our final month of the Lions year, I would ask that you help us reach our membership goal of having positive growth in our clubs and the District. Before you drop a member, ask if you have done everything you can to make that Lion feel welcome, involved, and engaged in service. Also, have you asked your neighbor to join you in service to make your community stronger and more vital? More hands mean more service and more and different opportunities to serve. Let’s finish strong!!
Thank you for your service and your friendship. It has been a great ride! DG Bill
