The Service Challenge
The District 2-X1 has 44 clubs out of 63 participating in campaign service challenge. Some clubs have still not reported their service activities. Please go ahead and report, if your club has to be recognized. There is still time plan your service activity for this year and implement it.

Centennial Membership Challenge
The district membership status continues to improve as we have a net gain of 5 compared to last year. With one more month left, we hope to show an overall gain in membership this year. We started this year with District Headcount 0f 1821, with a current membership of 1826 on May 28, 2017. Clubs are requested to hold the drops till July1, 2017 .

Texas Lions Centennial Celebration will take place at the Hyatt Regency, North Dallas, on Oct 6-7. Please make plans to attend. This will be an event as big as Texas! To commemorate we are planning to publish a souvenir. We solicit your support for an Ad from your club. Full page $250, Half page $150, Quarter Page $75. This is an inexpensive way to brag about your club or your business. You can also publish an article about your club. Please contact me if you wish to place an Ad.
Texas Centennial Celebrations
Please mark your calendars for Oct 5,6 for Texas Centennial celebrations at Hyatt, North Dallas. Please make your room reservations now. We are putting together a program souvenir book and you are invited to publish Ads, about your club or business. Full page $250, Half page $150, Quarter page $75.
