Global Service Team
One of the greatest joys of being a Lion is serving others. Research has proven that the happiest, most fulfilled people on earth are the ones that are involved with service to others. William Wordworth stated it best. “The best portion of a good man’s life; his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love”.
New members will join your club because you give them an opportunity to serve! They want to be involved in giving back!
Is your club doing community service? If not, why? If your membership is too small or too old, join with forces with another club! I will help you. Ideas are
unlimited! You can conduct a flash mob clean-up, collect used coats, conduct a food drive, create care packages for the military or local shelters, sponsor a supply drive for a local school or collect used eyeglasses. The list is endless!
“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more”. (Anthony Robbins)

Global Action Team
The Global Action Team consists of the GLT, GMT and the newly created GST. By working together as one team, the Global Action Team, along with LCIF, will enable us to expand on our motto, "We Serve," as it takes on
a new and unified approach to service, membership and
leadership development at all levels of the association. The Global Action Team will launch on July 1st.
Please join the Global Action Team Chairperson, Past International President Dr. Wing-Kun Tam, as he shares the vision and mission of the Global Action Team and how the Global Action Team will be a valuable resource to all Lions!
Look for Past International President Dr. Tam who will be presenting information on the Global Action Team during the area leadership forums throughout the year.
Additional information is also be available on our Lionsclubs.org website.
