OVER 200 MILLION SERVED The Service Challenge
Worldwide, we have doubled our original objective of serving one hundred million people, by serving over 215 million. Our district also has exceeded our original goal. Thanks to all the clubs who are pursuing service as our primary mission. We have four more months to finish the centennial celebrations that started in 2014. The district has won centennial patch three years in a row and poised to receive again at the end of this year. A big thank you to all the clubs for participating.
The District 2-X1 has 47 clubs participating in campaign service projects. Let us make this a banner year by 100% participation in service activities. Few clubs still are not reporting service activities. It is important that your club be recognized for the service activities. There is still time to plan your service activities and legacy projects for this year and implement it. There are only about a dozen clubs who have showcased legacy projects. It is important to note several clubs have included diabetes also as their service project.
