VINOD’S VIEWS
The District Convention held on April 26, 27 was a huge success and well attended. PID Lion Kembra Smith was the Chief Guest for the two day event. Hope all Lions left with a feeling as though they got something out of it. I am humbled and honored to have received the Gavel to be the incoming Governor starting July 1. It was great to recognize the 32 Grass Roots Lions for their service and involvement as new Lions. Congratulations to DG Keith for a great year and a successful convention.
Let us finish strong this year, as we have another two months left. Few clubs that have not performed any service activity need to do a service project, the reason why our clubs exist and also to bring in new members so the district can show a positive growth and more hands to serve the community. By now all clubs should have their incoming officers in place and submitted the PU-101. Lions University will be held on June 8, and I recommend the new Club Presidents and all the club officers to attend this one day event to be trained to become effective leaders of your clubs.

Last 2 months of the 2018 – 2019 Lions Year. Will your Club Members close the year like Lions? Will you continue to look for service opportunities and meet those needs? Keep working and make this a great year for your Club. A Year to be proud of and a year to build on for the future.
