Note this new location!
Lions 2-X1 University provides incoming club officers with the training and information
they need to have a successful Lion year. It also provides New Lions and your club’s upcoming leaders with an opportunity to learn and grow in Lion knowledge and to prepare for future leadership. If your club’s administrative finances allow, I suggest that the club cover all or a portion of the $30 registration fee for attendees. The fee covers breakfast, lunch and course material and the classes. Newly Chartered clubs should make certain their officers attend.
Registration forms with registration instructions and a campus map are available on line at www.lions2x1university.org.
This year LU is being planned by the incoming GLT (Lion PDG Carolyn Dorman) and her newly formed 2019-2020 GLT Committee along with our District Governor Elect Vinod Mathur. I am certain that it will be an extremely valuable and special day for all who attend.

The knowledge and enthusiasm gained by attending Lions University is extremely important to the success of our clubs and likewise our district.

What a fantastic District Convention, District Governor Keith Murray did an outstanding job. Thanks, Lion Keith. We were happy to be represented by PID Kembra Smith. The great fellowship on Friday night social opening was more than expected with the Silver Serenades; they were terrific.
Congratulation to Lion Christy Householter, Lion Esmeralda Rodriguez, and Lion Pamela Baker as they received International President Certificate of Appreciation. A well- earned award. In
voting, Vinod Mathur, 2-X1 District Governor, Billy Ketner, 1st Vice District Governor,

Grand Prairie Host what a job this club has done. Membership as of 07/2017 38 members, membership as of 07/2018 50 members. The Grand Prairie club has accomplished so much under the leadership of Zone Chair Esmeralda Rodriguez, thank you 2nd VDGE.
It’s time to have some fun; the district picnic is May 11, 2019 in Wylie, Texas come and have fun.
