\/ /\ R The boys varsity soccer team ended
their season with a 7-8-1 record.
The team started off the season well by taking second place in the W-H Kickoff Classic. There they defeated Rutger's Prep.
Co-captains, seniors, Jason Mozo and Brian Bonk, who have both been on the team for four years, provided the neces sary leadership on the field.
However, with five games remaining in the season, injuries caught up with the Rams as Bonk went down with a frac tured tail bone.
"That really hurt us. We lost our compet itive edge without Brian," said Junior center halfback Ben Friedland.
Coached byJohn Walker and Juan Alon zo, the team put up a fight in every match.
Returning eight letter men from this year's team, the future looks bright for next season. "We have a good core of players, and we will be in the top four in the conference next season."
