TRUSTEES
As the new era at Wardlaw approached, a revised system of government had to be inaugurated. To control the activities of the revamped institution, a Board of Trustees, consisting of fifteen men, was selected as a governing body.
The first step taken by the trustees was to purchase the school from its owner,
Mr. C. Digby Wardlaw, now headmaster emeritus. After this transaction, Mr.
Prentice C. Horne was appointed as the new headmaster. Then came innovations affecting both the faculty and the students.
The effects of this new system at Wardlaw are fully appreciated and will be even more pronounced when the planned extension of the school becomes a reality. From the progress made by this committee in its first year, it seems that the future of the Wardlaw Country Day School, Incorporated, is brighter and more promising than ever.
