Middle Schoolers Learn Student Government
Student government at Wardlaw begins in the middle school. Junior Student Council, chosen by middle-school students and fa­ culty, meets with Mr. Prentice C. Horne, headmaster, to plan so­ cial events and to discuss current problems affecting the middle school.
Foxie, a small stuffed fox, is awarded by the council to the middle-school class having the highest academic average at the end of each marking period.
Officers of the council this past year were J. Gilmore Childers, president; James F. Reynolds, vice president; Richard C. Dresdale, secretary; and Stephen E. Jones, treasurer.
