From beneath a hat that might well be mistaken for that of an old farmhand beams a blooming pink-cheeked face and in that face are set two eyes—eyes that can do everything, even what is not worth men­
tioning. Aside from an outstanding ability to leave a sinking ship grace- fully and to be fashionably late to library this girl is a person with an abnormal amount of charm and tact. She excels in other lines also,
especially tennis, and with "excel” we are using a rather mild word to describe her smashing serve and infallible backhand.
